We are concerned greatly with salvation of souls. The Lord says,I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance (Luke 15:7)(NKJV). In this page, we present several salvation messages with the prayer that the Lord will use them to convince a large number of people of their need of the Savior and the salvation He suffered and died to make available free of charge to whoever would receive it.

ETERNITY

- Raphael Oye. Taiwo

Friend, where will you spend eternity?

Yes! You will spend eternity somewhere when you leave that clay frame called the body and you say 'goodbye' to the world.

It will be in the heaven of God or in the hell of the devil.

If you go to the heaven of God to spend eternity, you will enjoy forever and ever joy, happiness, riches, glory and peace beyond human imagination.

If you go to the hell of the devil to spend eternity, you will suffer forever and ever unspeakable torment and grief that no human tongue can describe.

The loving God wants you to go to heaven to enjoy for all eternity. He does not want you to go to hell to suffer for all eternity. That is why He sent Jesus into the world to suffer and die for the sins that should send you to hell."For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV)

Jesus took your sins upon Himself on the cross of Calvary. He suffered and died for them. God judged your sin on His beloved Son on the cross. You know why? He wants so much for you to spend eternity in the heaven of joy, not in the hell of sorrow.

If you are wise, you will show your appreciation to God by accepting the free gift of salvation that the blood of His Son purchased for you on the cross of Calvary - NOW!

But if you choose to be a fool, like many people of the world choose to be, then go on rejecting the free, precious gift of salvation that Jesus mercifully made available to you. You can go on laughing with other fools at the idea of heaven and hell. You can dismiss the message of eternity as utter rubbish. You can call the preachers of the gospel all the silly names you like. But when you leave this world, as you are surely going to do one day, and find yourself in the place of the damned, where you will be confronted with the horrible fact you are going to spend eternity in indescribable torment, you will curse yourself for being the most foolish creature who ever walked on earth.

But why should you go to hell to spend eternity when the good God has provided a way for your salvation from eternal suffering? Why shouldn't you go to heaven to spend eternity in ineffable glory and joy when the good God has already made it possible for you to do so?

Friend, do not be a fool. Accept God's free gift of salvation today. You may be nearer eternity than you think.

All you need to do is to repent of your sin and come to Jesus the Saviour.

By 'repent' we mean that you must be sorry for all the sins you have ever committed and be ready to forsake them.

To come to Jesus, you must believe in Him. That is, you must believe all the Bible says about Him. And you must accept Him as your Lord and Saviour. When you do, His precious blood will cleanse you from your sins and you will receive the precious gift of eternal life that qualifies you to spend eternity in heaven.

NOW, NOT LATER

R. Oye. Taiwo
"Moses, when are you going to give your life to Jesus and be saved?" I asked the young man, one of the four people with whom I was sharing a big room in a government office.

"Soon, very soon" he replied smoothly.

"You have been saying that now for a long time. Don't you think it's time you made a decision to get saved."

"Not to worry," he smiled. "I am certain I am going to get saved. I have even dreamed in my sleep several times about being saved."

"Why not now? Why later?"

"I still want to enjoy myself a little more. like having affairs with girls - something I know I can no longer do when I come to Jesus. Never worry, I will get saved, later."

There were three of us Christians in the office who took it in turns to plead with him to give his life to Jesus. He had no problem with what we were saying from the word of God. He agreed we were right. The only problem was that he needed more time before he could come to Jesus.

"Not now, later!"

"The word of God says in Proverbs 27:1, 'Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.' Death may come when you least expect, you know."

My great friend had his plan for dealing with that possibility.

"If it happens that death decides to take me away in my youth, before it closes my eyes and seal my lips I will quickly call upon the Lord to save me. After all, the Bible says he who calls upon the Lord shall be saved."

Then, he was transfered to another city. Before he left, I reminded him about all we had been telling him about receiving the Saviour and His salvation.

"Oh, don't worry," he said. "That will soon be settled. You see, I am going to resign very soon. When I do I'll come and stay with you for some time. During my stay I'll certainly get saved."

But that time never came.

One morning, soon after he left, I stepped into the office to be greeted with the news that he had had a fatal accident. It was so sudden that he couldn't have had enough time to utter a word, let alone to call upon the Lord to save him. He was flung headlong into a christless hell where he would forever curse himself for being such a fool as to pass up all the opportunities the Lord gave him to be saved.

Even if he had time enough to call upon the Lord to show him mercy and save him before he died, would the Lord have listened to him, knowing that the young man was only trying to avoid punishment for the sin he loved so much, the sin that would not leave, when death was not yet staring him in the face, to come to the Saviour?

The word of God warns, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" Galatians 6:7

Amplified Bible (AMP)explains, "Do not be deceived and deluded and misled; God will not allow Himself to be sneered at (scorned, disdained, or mocked [a]by mere pretensions or professions, or by His precepts being set aside.) [He inevitably deludes himself who attempts to delude God.] For whatever a man sows, that and [b]that only is what he will reap."

How could people like this fellow have the impudence to think that just because they called upon the Lord on their death-bed they could go to heaven with the love of sin in their heart - sin which love would not allow them to come to Jesus the Saviour, in spite of the pleadings and warnings of the people of God, when they were hale and hearty; sins they would not forsake if they miraculously escaped the clutch of death?

Friend, don't be like the fellow in this true story. Today, when you are still breathing and you can still talk, today when the door of salvation is still open, repent of your sins and accept Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour. "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near" Isaiah 55:6. Now, not later!

FOUR REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD BE SAVED

Raphael Oye. Taiwo

GOD LOVES YOU

You must be saved because God loves you more than mouth can describe. When Adam, our fore-father, kicked against the commandment of God, God didn't destroy human beings and create better creatures to replace then. He had the power to do so if that was what He wanted to do. He also had a good reason to do so. But so great was the love of God for man that He made a way of salvation for man. He did the best thing He could to reconcile man to Himself and justify man before the justice of heaven. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.(NLT) If you perish, it will not be because God did not love you enough, but because you were foolish enough to reject the precious gift of salvation which the love of God freely gives to you. I want to hear you say right now, "If God loves me so much, I must be saved - NOW!"

JESUS PAID THE PRICE OF YOUR SALVATION

You must be saved because Christ has paid a great price for your salvation. To pay the debt you could never pay and buy salvation for you, which the money in all the banks of the world could never buy for you, Jesus willingly suffered and died. With His precious blood, He paid the price for your salvation. If you leave the world unsaved after all that God the Father and Jesus did for you so you could be saved, then you really deserve eternal punishment in the place of the damned.

HEAVEN IS TOO GOOD FOR YOU NOT TO GO THERE

You must be saved because heaven is too good to miss. Heaven is a place of indescribable glory, inexpressible joy and ineffable peace.Hear how the Bible describes the heavenly city, 3.And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4.He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” 5.He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” 6.He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. ... 11.It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12.It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13.There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14.The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Rev.21 (NIV))
1.Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2.down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3.No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4.They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. (Rev.22 (NIV))

No, my friend, heaven is too good a place to miss. That is why you must be saved today.

HELL IS TOO BAD FOR YOU TO GO THERE

You must be saved because you must not go to hell. Everything about hell is bad. The worst suffering in this world is enjoyment compared to the least suffering in hell. Hear what the Word of God says about the evil place, But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars  their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death. (Rev.21:8 (NIV))
And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night (Rev.14:11 (NKJV))

Do you now see that you must be saved...saved...SAVED.

What must you do right now if you cannot confidently and honestly say that you are already saved by the blood of Jesus? Get down on your knees and call upon Jesus the Savior. Tell Him you realize that you are a sinner who deserve hell. Tell Him that you have made up your mind to leave the devil and his works and follow the Savior only from now on. Ask Him to forgive you your sins, wash you clean in the blood of Jesus and give you grace to sin no more.

If you do, you can be sure the good Savior will not cast you away. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. John 6:37. He will surely answer and save.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9.

God bless you.
